Kitchens & Bathrooms

Full room refurbs coordinated with our own electricians and tilers, single point of contact from strip-out to tap handles.

What we do

Kitchens and bathrooms are where cheap refurbs show up fastest. We sequence the trades properly, plaster before electrics goes wrong, tilers after plumbers, snagging before painting, and we run the whole thing through one project lead so you're not coordinating six different sub-contractors yourself.

  • Kitchen refurbs, cabinetry, worktop, appliances, splashbacks.
  • Bathroom and wet-room refurbs with full waterproofing membranes.
  • Plumbing alterations and hot-water cylinder upgrades.
  • Tiling, porcelain, stone, large-format, with proper substrate prep.
  • Underfloor heating in bathrooms and kitchens as standard.
  • Snag and handover with all appliance paperwork filed together.

Where kitchen and bathroom refurbs usually go wrong

The failure modes on kitchen and bathroom refurbs are almost always sequencing. Trades booked in the wrong order, decisions locked in after they should have been, and a finish that looks fine on handover day but starts showing problems at month three, grout cracking where the tiler rushed in before the screed cured, cabinets out of level because the flooring was refit after the units went in, sealant mouldy because the wet-room tanking was a layer of cheap membrane rather than a proper two-coat system.

We sequence properly: strip-out, structural alterations, first-fix plumbing and electrics, screed and tanking (with a genuine cure time, not 'paint it on at 5pm and come back at 8am'), tiling with the right substrate for the tile size and weight, cabinetry, worktop, appliances, sealant, commissioning.

Every decision you need to make, tile choice, tap spec, cabinet handle style, worktop edge detail, gets pulled forward to the point in the project where locking it in doesn't delay anything. We give you a decision calendar so you know which choices need to be made this week vs which can wait until next month. Nothing is worse for a refurb than a client who gets cold feet on the tile choice the morning the tiler's due to start.
